LG also offer a service and maintenance for all. First and foremost, you should make sure that your boiler is serviced every year.
An annual service is regular enough to keep your boiler in good working condition and limit wear over time. Servicing any more regularly that this is probably unnecessary. As well as keeping your boiler running when you need it, an annual service is also a condition of the warranty for many new boilers. If you want to keep your boiler’s warranty valid, you’ll have to service it annually. Sometimes, not servicing your boiler annually can leave your home insurance invalid too, should you encounter a boiler problem.
An annual service should be enough to keep your boiler in top condition, but if it’s been a while since your boiler was serviced and your boiler seems inefficient, a service may be in order. A boiler that isn’t running efficiently is costing you money, so having your boiler serviced should get it back into working condition. A service will also identify if there are any larger or more serious problems with your boiler.
Most importantly, don’t wait until you have a problem before booking a boiler service. If your boiler seems to be working well, it can be tempting to avoid servicing, thinking there’s no benefit.
